This 1948 film was directed by and stars Orson Welles, with striking cinematography from John Russell of Psycho fame. A haunting, eccentric production with Welles’ frequent radio costar Jeanette Nolan as Lady Macbeth. Next up: Kenneth Branagh’s 1993 lively romp, “Much Ado About Nothing”, on Sunday, February 17.
