Services
The DBA provides both “Environmental Enhancements” (Cleaning, Hospitality, Beautification, and Social Services Outreach) and “Economic Enhancements” (Marketing, Communications, Events and Business Support) for Downtown Berkeley. All our programs and services augment—not replace—service already provided by the City of Berkeley.
Our staff of approximately sixteen Cleaning and Hospitality Ambassadors regularly patrol and clean Downtown Berkeley to provide a more welcoming and vibrant Downtown Berkeley. We also provide landscaping and other Beautification services to enhance the resident and visitor experience in the Downtown.

Ambassador of the Month September 2021
Joining the team as Operations Supervisor in August, Myo quickly fit into his new position. Eager to assist the team and the Downtown community, Myo has been all over the place cleaning, weeding, removing graffiti, and devising new ways of making each visit to the Downtown more enjoyable. For bringing his own special brand of determination and team spirit, we salute Myo as October 2021 Ambassador of the Month!
