Bay Area Book Festival

The Bay Area Book Festival, now in its second year, is one of Northern California’s smartest and most welcoming weekend events, attracting 50,000 people of all ages and income levels. Free to the public, it features 300 international, national, and local authors in 125 keynotes, interviews, and panels, from top chefs to award-winning novelists and more. The festival fills downtown Berkeley, which closes streets to traffic to allow for 200 exhibitors and two outdoor stages, one just for children.
