You may not know it, but there has been a revolution in board games. And what better place to engage in revolution than Berkeley?

We meet in Berkeley to play what some people might call hobby board games. The games, however, are not the hours-long dorkfests of yesteryear, or the plodding drudgery of roll-move-and-wait-for-your-brother-to-take-his-turn. These are fresh, new, and stimulating strategy board and card games from around the world that generally feature shorter playing times, more constant player involvement, no player elimination, and engaging depth of play, with generally easy-to-learn rules. And, oh yeah, these games make you think... sometimes a little, sometimes a lot!
